Buildher is the first and only technical training facility for construction artisans in Kenya that exclusively trains women and actively promotes gender equality in the industry.

WHY WE BUILD HER

We work to support low-income women to break cycles of systemic inequity by providing them with the holistic training, tools and employment support they need to establish successful skilled construction trade careers and livelihoods in which they may thrive.

INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT

We engage employers, industry professionals and regulators to assess sector skills gaps, improve our training and work-integrated learning programs; and advocate for gender integration in the industry.

A Savings and Credit Cooperative promoting a savings culture and providing access to personal financial services to Buildher Tradeswomen alumnae.

Research & Development of Buildher sub-brands to bridge the gap between Buildher tradeswomen and clients/ employers in the construction and furniture manufacturing sector.
